but what started making me think on this is when i researched these disorders i have found all it comes to is they have such a high intelligence that we cant comprehend and this is why i wonder if there is a connection......

i also found this interesting...........i had never heard of an indingo child til i came to this sight and someone suggested she might be 1 and when i hoogled it.....i found alot of traits in an indingo is very similar to the symptoms of ODD ..... and it also said several are ADD/ADHD

ODD- OPPOSITIONAL DEFIANT DISORDER

Symptoms are as follows:

Losing one’s temper

Active defiance of reasonable requests

Refusing to follow rules

Deliberately annoying other people

Being touchy, easily annoyed

Being easily angered, resentful, spiteful, or vindictive.

tempers and fiery determination

resistance to authority

disruptive, impatient and easily bored

rejection of authority, being smarter than their teachers and a lack of response to guilt-, fear- or manipulation-based discipline

Now i ask am i the only 1 who sees the same charastics???.

ADD/ADHD

Similarities are:

Often fidgeting with hands or feet, or squirming while seated.

Having difficulty remaining seated.

Having difficulty awaiting turn in games or group activities.

Often blurting out answers before questions are completed.

Having difficulty in following instructions.

Having difficulty sustaining attention in tasks or play activities.

Often shifting from one uncompleted task to another.

Having difficulty playing quietly.

Often talking excessively.

Often interrupting or intruding on others.

Often not listening to what is being said.

Often forgetting things necessary for tasks or activities.

Often engaging in physically dangerous activities without considering possible consequences.

Often becomes easily distracted by irrelevant sights, sounds and extraneous stimuli

Often blurts out answers before hearing the entire question

Often fails to give close attention to details.

Often makes careless mistakes in schoolwork, work, or other activities.

Often has difficulty sustaining attention in tasks or play activities.

Often becomes easily distracted by irrelevant sights, sounds and extraneous stimuli.

Often does not follow through on instructions and fails to finish schoolwork, chores, or duties in the workplace.

Often has difficulty organizing tasks and activities.

Often avoids tasks, such as schoolwork or homework, that require sustained mental effort.

Often loses things necessary for tasks or activities, like school assignments, pencils, books, or tools.

Often is forgetful in daily activities.

Rarely follows instructions carefully and completely.

Often does not seem to listen when spoken to directly.

indigo children

key to teaching indigo children is respect. Indigo kids must be respected before they will respect and pay attention to their teacher.

They are highly attuned to their environment – sounds, smells, energy and even electric currents (some have been known to “kill” watches, or break light bulbs when they walk past).

They respond poorly to harsh criticism. If they are lied to or not respected as people, they may retreat or refuse to participate in class, work or discussions

Almost as importantly, indigo kids need to be challenged and to have their intelligence welcomed. They usually “check out” and become disruptive in class when they are bored, or have no outlet for creativity.

Autism

Traits are:

Rarely Lie

Live in the Moment

Rarely Judge Others

Passionate

Not Tied to Social Expectations

Have Terrific Memories

Less Materialistic

Play Fewer Head Games

Have Fewer Hidden Agendas

Most of the time, if a person on the autism spectrum tells you what he wants -- he is telling you what he wants. No need to beat around the bush, second guess, and hope you're reading between the lines!

Open New Doors for Neurotypicals

For some of us neurotypicals, having an autistic person in our lives has had a profound positive impact on our perceptions, beliefs and expectations. For me, at least, being the mom of a son on the autism spectrum has released me from a lifetime of "should" -- and offered me a new world of "is."

Crystal Children:

Extremely sensitive to everything in their environment,

physical and energetic.

Possess large eyes with an intense stare

that penetrates your very soul.

Have magnetic personalities.

Are highly affectionate.

There is an innocence, guilelessness

and a purity due to an absence of ego.

Start talking late in childhood.

Are very musically oriented and may sing before talking.

Use telepathy and self invented sign language to communicate.

May be diagnosed with autism, or Asperger’s syndrome.

Have strong symbolic visual skills.

Are even tempered, sweet and loving.

Are forgiving of others.

Are highly sensitive and empathic making them deeply vulnerable.

Are very much connected to nature and animals.

They love water which is beneficial in clearing and soothing them.

Are natural healers and peacemakers.

Are quite interested in crystals and rocks.

Often discuss angels, spirit guides, and past life memories.

Are extremely artistic and creative.

Often are natural vegetarians and may have a high metabolism.

May be fearless explorers and climbers

with an amazing sense of balance.

Their energy may disrupt electrical appliances.

They may experience some spiritual wounding.

If it is safe enough for them, those children with all 100%

of the crystal characteristics will begin coming

towards the end of 2005. The Dosicks describe them this way:

These children are characterized by being pure love.

They come with no karma, with no past life woundings.

Their faces continually glow with the Light of the Divine.

Their entire beings are soft and gentle.

They exude an incredible sweetness.

They seem untouched by the harshness of the world.

They are incapable of taking in anything that is not the pure Love vibration.

They come to be the realization of Beings of pure Light and Love, paradigms of a world of perfection, the embodiment of what every being on Earth can and will be.²

i am for sure looking at this real close......

it is proven that autistic especiallay AS is very gifted children in IQ

most autistic children have a special ability, several play music by ear, many r geniuses and usully r some form of expert, autistic children are alot of times referred to as ppl not from this world. anyways i will leave that there and as i find more on this i will post.....

I found this fascinating. We were told my niece was a crystal child and recently my sister told me the doctors believe she has adhd. I have wondered if perhaps there was a connection between the two. There definately seem to be a lot of similar characteristics between ODD and an Indigo child.

Okay opps let me start off by saying that I didn't post this lol you can always tell if its me or someone adding stuff to the site because if it's me I'll use my goddess signature. The stonger you are gifted wise the more likely you are going to have chemical problems. This is because we are forced to bank our gifts and there are hardly any places for us to go, to learn how to control them. It's like starting a fire in a forest but not containing it and controling it, eventually it can't help but swallow everything around it.
