Tea helps in alot of functions: Most teas have a base, and then some herbs. green, black, herbal, Oolong. Herbal fits in many different varieties.
Green Tea: -Lowers cancer risks -Prevents tooth decay -Lowers risk for heart disease and strokes -Lowers blood preassure -Kills viruses -Appetite suppressant +is said to do good things for your energy
Black Tea -Saves arteries -Slows cancer growth -fights inflamation -wipes out viruses
Oolong tea -great for fat burning and cholesterol buidup -preventative for heart illness -helps digestive system -helps immunity -stronger bones -prevents tooth decay
White Tea -prevents the workings of free-radicals that cause cancer. -Antibacterial and anti-viral agents. -beneficial for teeth and gums -helps grow healthy bones -Good to allievate symptoms of diabetes -reduces blood preassure
Acaiis used in rapid weight loss, although this is yet to be proven, andalso in teas. It helps with cardiovascular and digestive systems.
This tea helps boost energy and immunity.
Alfalfais a plant rich in vitamin D and K, and can be made into T. used tohelp with apetite and weight gain, and can be a good diuretic andbone-stregnthener. It can lower blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Itcan help upset stomach as well.
It will help bring calcium to the bones and not the linings of the intestines. It also acts as a blood purifier.
Don't drink it if you are taking pills to stop the rejection of kidney transplants.
*Chamomile tea is a type of herbal tea that is great for calming the bodies nerves, and stomach, as well as helping with cramps.
Chamomeal tea is a virus-buster and helps inflamation as well as liver function. Cinnamontea is popular in the southern parts of Asia and goes will with desertssuch as fruits or pastries. Its a comforting and delicious tea.
Its a good in taste but its benefits lies in circulation. Also helps with colds and upset stomachs.
The scent improves memory and cognitive functions. Cinnamon tea goes well with honey. Darjeeling is perhaps my favorite tea but its also exotic, from herbs grown in India, but its the rarest and highest in demand.

Eucalyptusis a quick-growing minty plant in Australia. Eucalyptus isnt normallyone to be swallowed but has the ability to help with the mucus in thethroat and chest that causes ailments.
It can be used as an anticeptic mouthwash. It can also be rubbed on the chest to relieve bronchitis, asthma and cold.
Inhaling helps with colds, asthma, emphysema, and cough.
Earl Grey tea is a traditional English tea. It has been used before as an antidepressent and antioxident, and fever reducer.
Earl Grey teas' main ingredient is the Bergamot which is the the jack of trades for all afformentioed traits of Earl grey.
Ginger tea was traditionally made in china, but was used in Greece for gingerbread, an gingerale in colonial times.
Itis mainly used for Nausea and inflamation, but it can help with motionsickness, digestion, dizziness, chronic pain, and flatulence.

*Peppermenttea has an effect mostly in the digestive system, such as withflatulence, irritable bowel syndrom, heartburn, bad breath.
Alsogood for gallstones, chronic pain, coughing, congestion, and fightsstress. Peppermint does a better job of fighting nausea than mostover-the-counter pills.
This is also good to fightagainst hunger and temporarily nulify the sensation of hunger. This isvery good for dieting, but will make hunger worse afterwards so it isbest if your waiting on a meal.
*Rosemary is a good herbfor cooking, and a good herb to be boiled for tea. It is one of naturesaspirins and fever reducers. It dilates the blood vessels and increasescirculation which allows more oxygen to go to your brain, relievingheadaches and increasing memory. Epilepsy and rheumatisms are alsobattled by rosemary, Sage tea is made from boiling 1oz. of dried sagefor every pint of water. then strained after half an hour.
Sageis good for fevers, soothing oral inflamations, soothing mucusmembranes. They help with healing joint pains, sore throats, mouthulcers and sores, and combats hemoorage in lungs and stomach.
It helps fight liver and kidney problems.
YerbaMate tea (requested by mom) is a tea thats becoming more and morepopular and originates in south-central south America. Helps withenergy, metabolism, heart disease, and diabetes. Valerian tea isa strong sleep inducer, calming panic and restlessness, calms thenervous system and the digestive system. They help with menstrualproblems and they help with cramps, especially cramps due to irritablebowel syndrome. They lower blood pressure and slow the growth of cancer. Smells foul, tastes fine, is really potent
Vervane is a plant sacred to the Romans and used to purify homes and temples.They were also used for kidney stones and diarrhea. They are used tohelp with the liver, cleaning the urinary tract, and digestive issues.It is also used to help increase the flow of milk. To make it, pourboiling water over the finely chopped herb, then strain after 5-10minuits.
