One of the things that gets me that I've been told even praying won't do a thing to help or to change a situation. (I'm a skeptic so therefore it doesn't work healing won't work.) I wish their were such things as miracles.(Because my life needs a few.)

Okay Even if you skeptical, praying still works. Even if you don't believe in the Devine if you did, would you seriously believe in one that would turn it's back on you when you most needed "them" or could so easily go I'm not paying attention to her because she ignores me. That sounds like human attributes to me and I'd much rather believe that the ones that created us wouldn't be like the greek gods and goddess that we read about in history. Now with that said, I'll completely agree with you that rough patches suck, alot. I'm in one myself but thank the goddess for the ppl on here that are my friends and family. Even if you don't believe hun, or are skeptic, you know that love is real and surrounding yourself in it always helps. Blessed Be, Luta

Hi there Offpath! Consider how the life you've known works. There's strength in unity. Corporations grow from like minded individuals who pool their various resources; and they're able to expand. A person only becomes famous by expanding the people who know about him or her. A farm grows more productive with more workers and space. Not so many people choose to expand their consciousness with their time. At least North American lifestyle keeps people busy and focused in their physical self. A lot of people don't explore metaphysics because we have a preconception of what normal is. The symptoms of mental illness' for example are things that have been documented throughout history. Only now we've classified it as abnormal, it's still natural just less common. I would say to truly believe something you should explore it. For me spirituality needed to be felt rather than understood.
